Little Havana
The best time to visit is on the last Friday of the month at night to experience “Viernes Culturales”. Lots of fun walking down calle ocho and seeing the art museums, street vendors, etc. If you want to party, Ball and Chain is excellent. Try some cuban coffee and/or Cuban Food at “El Pub”. Little Havana is dead during the day. You are better off seeing the beaches, Key Biscayne, Shopping etc. during the day.
Miami Design District
Wynwood, Midtown and Design District are all relatively new, hip, artsy and trendy areas of Miami. The best time to visit would on on the 2nd Saturday night of the month for art walk. Absolutely packed with people partying, visiting galleries, etc.. There are new places constantly opening so I would check Tripadvisor for particulars. My favorite restaurant in this area is Michaels Genuine for a meal or brunch.
Vizcaya Museum and Gardens
This is a lovely place if you want to slow down the pace and is a good fit for a mid week activity. I wouldnt spend time here during the weekend when there is so mich else to see. It is located near Coconut Grove and Key Biscayne and has nice views of Biscayne Bay.Enjoy The Summer In Miami
